Public Holidays in Denmark

During the period of martial law the provisions of the Labor Code of Ukraine, which establish holidays and non-working days, do not apply.

Accordingly, the Embassy of Ukraine in Denmark currently works also during official holidays and non-working days of Ukraine.

22 January – Day of Unity of Ukraine (working day) *
8 March – International Women′s Day (public holiday)
1 May – Labour Day (public holiday)
5 May – Easter (public holiday, non-working day on 6 May)
8 May – Victory Day over Nazism in World War II (public holiday) *
23 June – Pentecost (public holiday, non-working day on 24 June)
28 June – Constitution Day of Ukraine (public holiday) *
15 July – Day of Ukrainian Statehood (public holiday) *
23 August – Day of the National Flag of Ukraine (working day) *
24 August – Independence Day of Ukraine (public holiday, non-working day on 26 August) *
1 October – Defender of Ukraine Day (public holiday) *
6 December – Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (working day) *
25 December – Christmas (public holiday)
