A Honorary Consul of Ukraine in Denmark may be appointed to promote the development of trade, economic, cultural, scientific, tourist and other ties between Ukraine and Denmark, as well as to protect the rights and interests of individuals and legal entities of Ukraine on the territory of the consular district of Denmark.
A Honorary Consulate is a consular institution of Ukraine based on the territory of Denmark and headed by an Honorary Consul. A consular district is the area assigned to this consular institution for the performance of consular functions on the territory of Denmark.
In Denmark, as of the beginning of 2023, two Honorary Consuls of Ukraine have been appointed in the consular districts of Northern Jutland, Central Jutland and Southern Denmark. These Honorary Consuls do not perform consular activities on the territory of Denmark but are actively involved in the development of Ukrainian-Danish economic and people-to-people relations.
