Andrii Yanevskyi was appointed the Ambassador of Ukraine to Denmark by Decree of the President of Ukraine No. 714/2023 dated 27 October 2023.

Prior to his posting in Denmark, he served as the Director of the Minister’s and Executive Secretariat at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine from March 2020.

Between 2016 and 2020, he was posted to the Embassy of Ukraine in the United States, where he held the position of Chargé d’Affaires of the Ukrainian Mission from 2019 to 2020.

Before this, he worked in the US and Canada Unit at the Second Territorial Department of the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine, as well as in the Ukrainian Embassies in Beirut and Rabat.

Andrii Yanevskyi was born on 11 December 1986. He earned his master’s degree in international relations from the Institute of International Relations, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv in 2009. Additionally, he obtained an MSc in international law from the Institute of Postgraduate Education of the University. Proficient in English and French.

Andrii Yanevskyi is married to Yuliia Sybirtseva, and together they are raising a son.
