Ambassador of Ukraine M. Vydoynyk visited one of the leading and most famous innovation centres in the world - Robotics Cluster (acting as startup incubator) at the Odense Robotics Danish Technological Institute and met with its Director, Mr. Christoffersen.
The prospect of talented Ukrainian students and graduates engagement ranging from programmers, engineers to cybernetics, chemists and physicists as well as their skills and competencies development were discussed.
Currently, there are more than 130 companies operating in the Innovation Cluster together with 10 academic and educational institutions, which almost corresponds to the Massachusetts Robotics Cluster with its 150 companies. As of today, the Silicon Valley of Robotics of Denmark has given birth to over 325 startups. Odense Robotics annual turnover in 2017 was $ 866 million. Cluster annual revenue is expected to increase by 20% by 2021. Total investments in the Danish robotics cluster have risen from 322 million euros ($365.6 million) in 2015 to 750 million euros ($851.7 million) last year, with 42 percent coming from investors rather than public funding or loans.
