On 18 November 2022, art designer Oksana Mergut who became famous for the art of sand animation presented in Copenhagen the “Snow Queen” sand show based on the fairy tale of the world-famous Danish storyteller Hans Christian Andersen, as well as an emotional patriotic show about the beginning of Russia’s full-scale military aggression against Ukraine.

Oksana Mergut is the winner of all-Ukrainian and international competitions, the holder of the national title “Sand Fairy”. With a light wave of her hands, she creates worlds, mesmerizing with instant transformations. Her performances remain in the hearts of the audience for a long time.

The event also featured Ukrainian handicrafts and an exhibition of paintings by Ukrainian artists. The collected funds went to support Ukrainian children who suffered during the war.
