Every year in October, we pay tribute to the heroes who defend Ukrainian independence on the Day of Defenders and Defendresses of Ukraine.

This holiday reminds us of our civic duty. It is connected with the development of the army since the times of Rus-Ukraine. It is a holiday for everyone who at given time gave his/her knowledge, strength and courage for the prosperity of our state, preserving its independence and territorial integrity. The holiday for all those who are in the guard of honour in defence of the people of Ukraine.

The modern Ukrainian army is being actively modernized and armed, robustly responding to the Russian aggressor. It is rightly included in the list of the most mission-capable armies in Europe and the world.

We sincerely congratulate you on this wonderful day. We wish you strength and patience, a clear and especially peaceful sky above your head.
