On the third day of Russia’s war against Ukraine, Ukrainian Ambassador Mykhailo Vydoynyk gave an interview to the Danish Broadcasting Corporation “DR”, which aired at 22:30 on “DR2” in the television program “Deadline”.
The interview is dedicated to the assistance of Western countries to Ukraine, which includes military, humanitarian and financial components. The Ambassador stressed that Ukraine is working on various ways of cooperation with Denmark, Danish partners are acting quickly and coordinating their actions with their NATO allies. “Denmark is our real and true friend, and it helps,” said Ambassador Vydoinyk.
The massive package of sanctions was also discussed that European Union leaders agreed against the Russian Federation for its unprovoked invasion of Ukraine, as well as its possible impact on developments in Ukraine. According to the Ambassador, “this is one of the most important tools that Western countries have to influence Putin and his regime.”
