Against the background of the tense situation around the borders of Ukraine, Ambassador Mykhailo Vydoinyk gave an interview to the Danish TV company “TV 2”. It will be broadcast on 19 January 2022, at 18:20 pm om “TV 2 News” in the host television program “Lippert”.

Questions of the Danish side, first of all, concerned the threat of a full-scale invasion of the Russian army into the territory of Ukraine and the readiness of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Ukrainian population to fight back the aggressor.

A separate block of questions concerned the areas of strengthening cooperation between Ukraine and NATO in the light of current challenges, as well as the prospects for Ukraine’s membership in the Alliance. Finally, the parties discussed Ukrainian-Danish cooperation in strengthening Ukraine’s defence capabilities, as well as Ukraine’s agreements with its allies to introduce a comprehensive deterrence package against Russia.
