A busy agenda of the meeting covered the following issues: volunteering, organizing the collection and sending of humanitarian aid to Ukraine, as well as the role of the Ukrainian community in the volunteer movement.
During the meeting, Ambassador Mykhailo Vydoinyk expressed appreciation for the activities of “Bevar Ukraine” and thanked the volunteers of the union for their hard work.
The head of the Ukrainian diplomatic mission underlined the importance of the Ukrainian community’s participation in the volunteer movement, in particular in projects to send humanitarian aid to Ukrainian schools, children’s boarding establishments, hospices, hospitals, military hospitals, and regional care centres.
Along with the Ambassador of Ukraine, the honoured guests of «Bevar Ukraine» meeting included President of the Ukrainian World Congress Paul Grod and Ukrainian television host, volunteer, public figure Serhiy Prytula.
