On the 35th day of the war, on 30 March 2022, Ukrainian Ambassador Mykhailo Vydoinyk gave another interview to Danish journalist Søren Lippert, who hosts the author’s program “Lippert” on “TV 2 News”.
During the interview, the Ambassador informed about the current situation in Ukraine and the peace negotiations between the Ukrainian and Russian delegations. The interlocutors discussed the issue of “withdrawal” of Russian troops from Kyiv and Chernihiv, possible de-escalation and conclusion of a peace treaty, providing security guarantees to Ukraine, as well as the supply of weapons to Ukraine. “I can assure you, we have weapons, but we need more. And that’s our major request to our partners. Please deliver more assistance because we definitely need it,” said Mykhailo Vydoinyk.
The Ambassador also commented on the appeal of the President of Ukraine to the Danish Parliament and Government to strengthen sanctions against Russia and to give up Russian oil and gas.
