On 24 September 2021, within the framework of the “IT Export Boost” project, the Embassy of Ukraine in Denmark together with the “IT Ukraine Association” held an online seminar on the peculiarities of the Danish information and telecommunications services market and opportunities for Ukrainian IT companies to enter it.

The seminar was held as preparation for a future webinar with the participation of Ukrainian exporters of IT services and their potential Danish customers.

The participants of the seminar were IT specialists of the Danish company “New Software Solutions ApS” (“Sofitas” trademark) which provides software specialists and has an office in Lviv, a manufacturer of hearing aids “WS Audiology A/S” with offices in Denmark and Singapore, the Danish company “Scales A/S” – Microsoft’s largest partner in the region of Northern Europe for the distribution of “Dynamics 365” business applications and the Danish company “Yavica ApS” which implements “Dynamics 365” for the real estate sector.

They outlined peculiarities of the local market of IT services and the requirements being made by Danish service customers, in particular regarding technological solutions. Separately, the seminar participants discussed business ethics in Denmark and made practical recommendations for the promotion of IT services in the Danish market.

The seminar was also attended by Ambassador of Ukraine to Denmark Mykhailo Vydoinyk, project manager of the Ukrainian-Danish Chamber of Commerce Antonina Leth Møller and representatives of the “IT Ukraine Association”.

The “IT Ukraine Association” is the largest professional association of Ukrainian service and product companies representing the interests of 50,000+ IT specialists.

The “IT Export Boost” project started on 5 March 2021. Its main task is to promote Ukrainian IT exports around the world with the involvement of diplomatic missions of Ukraine abroad. Denmark has been identified as one of the priority export markets for Ukrainian IT companies.
