The Danish company “Sander’s Scandinavia ApS”, which manufactures high-quality safe children’s furniture in the classic Scandinavian style, will produce mattresses for its furniture in the Kharkiv region.

At the end of 2019, the company began production of its furniture at a furniture factory in the Zhytomyr region. At the same time, a long-term contract for the production of mattresses was signed with a Ukrainian manufacturer. Now two shipments of mattresses made in Ukraine are presented in the markets of the Scandinavian countries.

The products of the Ukrainian enterprise comply with European norms and quality standards. Its mattresses and sleeping accessories have been highly praised by independent experts and have won quality competitions.

“Sander’s Scandinavia” furniture is made from birch wood. Due to its functional features, it can be adapted to the needs of the buyer in terms of size and configuration.

Despite the slowdown in economic activity as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, Ukraine remains an attractive production site for foreign companies, including from the Nordic countries.

The agreement was reached thanks to the cooperation of the Embassy with the consulting investment agency “NordicUkraineinvest” which assists in finding partners and establishing cooperation and expanding business abroad. The agency helps companies, entrepreneurs and start-ups from Ukraine and Denmark to enter new international markets with their products.
