Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba met with Minister for Foreign Affairs of Denmark Jeppe Kofod in Vilnius on the margins of the 4th Ukraine Reform Conference.
The head of Ukrainian diplomacy proposed to his Danish counterpart to conclude an intergovernmental agreement on mutual recognition of vaccination certificates to facilitate travel for citizens.
Dmytro Kuleba thanked the Danish government for the decision to provide our country with 500,000 doses of the Covid-19 vaccine.
The Ministers welcomed the launch of the Danish-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce in Copenhagen which would help increase trade and investment. Jeppe Kofod supported Dmytro Kuleba’s proposal to hold a business forum in the near future.
The heads of the Foreign Ministries discussed separately support for anti-corruption reform in Ukraine, strengthening the defenсe capabilities of our country, modernization of the energy sector and the introduction of renewable energy sources.
The parties paid special attention to the issue of hindering the realization of the geopolitical project “Nord Stream 2”.
