During the event, Ambassador of Ukraine to Denmark Mykhailo Vydoinyk, Chairman of the Danish-Ukrainian Society Ivan Nester Nielsen, Priest of the Ukrainian Greek-Catholic Church in Denmark Rev. Vasyl Tykhovych, and Eastern European sculptor Sergei Boguslavsky, author of the monument to Taras Shevchenko in Copenhagen, welcomed the gathering and made an interesting overview of the history of the Basic Law of the State.

At the end of the event, the participants laid flowers at the monument to the Great Kobzar.
