The exhibition “Mom, I do not want war” has opened in the Saint Ansgar's Cathedral in Copenhagen

On the 205th day of the war, on 16 September 2022, the exhibition “Mom, I do not want war” officially opened under the patronage of the Embassies of Ukraine and Poland in Denmark. The event began with a joint Prayer for Peace held by Ukrainian priest The Reverend Vasyl Tykhovych and Polish priest The Reverend Kamil Brogowicz.

Ambassador of Ukraine to Denmark Mykhailo Vydoinyk and Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to Denmark Antoni Falkowski addressed the audience with a welcoming speeches.

The exposition consists of drawings of Polish children made during the Second World War, which are evidence of their trauma associated with the occupation of Poland by Nazi Germany in 1939-1945, as well as drawings of Ukrainian children, showing the emotional state of young Ukrainians who witnessed Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine.

The exhibition “Mom, I do not want war” will be opened for viewing until November 2022 at the following address: Sankt Ansgars Kirke, Bredgade 64, 1260 København K.
