During the meeting, the interlocutors focused on strengthening of the Ukrainian-Danish political dialogue, including Denmark’s support in countering Russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine, and on the importance of supporting the Crimean Platforms initiative, as well as Ukraine’s rapprochement with NATO.

They paid special attention during the conversation to the deepening of the inter-parliamentary dialogue, holding an online meeting with the participation of Committees members, exchange of visits between Committees, as well as at the level of Speakers of the Parliaments of Ukraine and Denmark.

Chairman Oleksandr Merezhko expressed gratitude for the constant support by Denmark for the sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of Ukraine, as well as for Denmark’s adherence to a non-recognition policy of the annexation of Crimea.
