As part of the project of the First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska, to introduce Ukrainian-language audio guides, another audio guide has been launched on Copenhagen tourist bus and boat hop-on hop-off routes. This audio guide became the 59th Ukrainian-language digital tour guide currently launched in 38 countries around the world.
Ukrainian has become the 12th language of the audio guides on the buses and boats of the company “Stromma Danmark” circulating through the streets and canals of Copenhagen. The Danish company is part of one of the largest tourism providers in the Nordic Europe “Stromma Turism & Sjöfart” which covers the largest cities in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland and the Netherlands.
In Copenhagen, tourist routes include:
Combinations of water and city tours are also possible, during which you can transfer from a bus to a boat and continue the tour by another type of transport: a three-hour sightseeing tour with a live guide “Copenhagen Panorama Sightseeing & Classic Canal Tour” or an unlimited in time (ticket valid for 2 days) sightseeing tour “Copenhagen Hop On-Hop Off bus + Classic Canal Tour” with an audio guide.
Please note that the Ukrainian audio guide is only available on hop-on hop-off tours.
The official launch of the Ukrainian-language audio guide was attended by the General Director of “Stromma Danmark A/S” Mads Vestergaard Olesen, Ambassador of Ukraine to Denmark Mykhailo Vydoinyk and the staff of the Ukrainian diplomatic mission in Denmark.
“We are launching the second Ukrainian-language audio guide in Denmark. This is a remarkable event. Ukrainians and Ukrainian tourists will have the opportunity to enjoy the Ukrainian language while sitting in comfortable buses and boats of the “Stromma” company. After taking a tour of the city, you will be able to learn a lot of interesting facts about the capital of Denmark in Ukrainian,” said the Ukrainian Ambassador.
The launch of the audio guide was made possible thanks to the support of the Office of the First Lady of Ukraine and the Joint Professional Association of Denmark ("3F").
“Find a common language". This is what we usually say when we are looking for dialogue. In dialogue with the world, Ukraine has already found it. This is the language of culture and history. The language of development and the future,” said the First Lady on the occasion of the launch of the audio guide in Denmark.
