On 9 December 2021, Ambassador of Ukraine to Denmark Mykhailo Vydoinyk received a group of students from the University of Copenhagen who intend to visit Ukraine next year.
Danish students, who are studying political science and social studies in the Eastern European region, were interested in current developments in Ukraine and the situation around the Ukrainian-Russian military conflict.
During the meeting, Mykhailo Vydoinyk gave an overview of the history of Ukrainian statehood, acquainted the students with the political, economic, educational and cultural peculiarities of Ukraine, its European and Euro-Atlantic aspirations.
Also, the head of the Ukrainian diplomatic mission focused on the Revolution of Dignity, Russia’s occupation of Crimea, as well as Russia’s ongoing aggression in eastern Ukraine and vision of ways to resolve the existing conflict with Russia. He briefly informed about Denmark’s participation in supporting Ukrainian reforms.
The Ambassador presented the students a short video about the tourist attractions of Ukraine, recommended a number of sights to visit during the planned trip.
