On 22 June, Ambassador of Ukraine Mykhailo Vydoinyk, together with representatives of the Ukrainian community Natalia Popovych and Halyna Kozlenko, took part in a meeting of the Working Group on the establishment of the Ukrainian House in Copenhagen.
The Working Group was convened on the initiative of Copenhagen Mayor for Employment and Integration Jens- Kristian Lütken, and with the support of the Ministry of Culture of Denmark and the Confederation of Danish Industry (DI).
During the meeting, the Ukrainian side presented to Danish partners the concept of the Ukrainian House, as well as its vision of its possible location in the capital and the functional requirements for the building.
The interlocutors discussed the issue of possible involvement of representatives of various Danish institutions in the implementation of the project, in particular, by providing financial and consulting support.
Based on the results of the meeting, the parties agreed to start searching for a building that would meet defined criteria, as well as to hold the next meeting of the Working Group in early August 2022.
