On 12 November 2020, Ambassador of Ukraine to Denmark Mykhailo Vydoinyk met with Anthony Sylvester, representative of the Labour Market, Education and Integration Secretariat of the Joint Professional Association of Denmark (“3F”).
Among other things, the interlocutors discussed the issue of employment of Ukrainian workers who may lose their jobs after the expected liquidation of mink farms, against the background of the crisis of the Danish fur industry related to the detection of mutated coronavirus mink in Denmark which is transmitted to humans.
Anthony Sylvester assured of the readiness of "3F" to cooperate with the relevant agricultural trade unions of Denmark to assist Ukrainians in protecting their labour interests in order to minimize the negative consequences caused by the pandemic.
